Peer Support Advocate Training Program at Sentara Careplex Hospital.
We have partnered with Virginia Commonwealth University Massey Cancer Center Community Engagement in Research to create this training program. We ask that you complete the attached application and send it back via email no later than Wednesday, September 7th.
If you need assistance completing the form, just email your interest and well will complete the form on your behalf. You may also call us at 757-788-2900 for more information. Only the first 10 women will be accepted into the inaugural training program. We hope that you are one of them.

Virtual Nana Chat: Women's Cancers: Warrior Witness Testimonies
Did you know that the average age for gynecologic cancers is sixty-three? Yet, how many women seasoned women have stopped getting an annual pelvic examination or know the signs and symptoms associated with these cancers? Why do women of color have worse outcomes? This presentation is aimed at empowering you to save the lives of the women in your life through the witness testimonies of those warrior women who have battled these insidious diseases.
